Our Health Guarantee
Here on the Ponderosa, our Family raises healthy dogs to be socialized with other dogs and puppies. In addition, we have provided your puppy with vaccinations and de-wormer and detailed records are included when you adopt your puppy and take it home. It is very important that you continue the vaccinations and worming. Your puppy will be examined by a veterinarian after they're born and immediately prior to adoption, and is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of adoption.
We have been truthful about your puppy in every regard, including their breed, size, color, registry, health, and puppy temperament. Upon request, we have provided parent photos and their current size. We cannot guarantee the size or weight of the puppy when full grown as there is just no way to know. There is always a possibility of a "throwback" puppy, meaning an individual puppy that reflects more of one breed than the other, so they may be unexpectedly larger or smaller than common in Pomskies.
We guarantee our puppies for their first year of life. Within this first year, if a licensed veterinarian finds that your puppy has a life threatening illness that cannot be controlled by medication or corrective procedure, a replacement puppy will be given. This will be a puppy of the same breed and value from the next available litter. We are happy to make amends where amends are due. If this were to happen, the Buyer will return the original puppy to us. No replacements will be given if the female has been bred.
Should the Buyer refuse to return the puppy, the Buyer would release the Breeder from any and all medical liability claims.
Medication or surgeries for illnesses common in the breed of your puppy will not be covered. These include, but are not limited to Kennel Cough, Patellar Luxation, umbilical hernias, colds, allergies, or internal/external parasites. However, we will disclose any known illnesses or health issues prior to adoption.
This guarantee is non-transferable.
This guarantee does not cover any health issues caused by neglect or injury from the Buyer. This includes over-exercise when a dog is still in it’s growing period. This guarantee does not cover accidental death or accidental abnormalities. We are not responsible for any veterinary expenses on returned/replaced puppies.
The Buyer will take their puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of adopting their puppy. Not doing so will result in an invalid health guarantee.
By continuing with payment, you have read and understand the above documented inclusions and exclusions in regards to the Health Guarantee for your new puppy. You, the Buyer, are willing to abide by the guidelines above, in order to keep your Health Guarantee valid. This serves as a Buyer Agreement, and no other claims, contracts, or warranties have been made.
As a responsible breeder, we require our clients to sign a short contract that includes the following:
You, the buyer, agree to our health guarantee and are willing to abide by it in order to keep your health guarantee valid.
To take good and responsible care of puppy.
You agree to allow us to use any photos you send us or are available to the public on social media, so that we may be allowed to use on our website or social media. This helps when we're repeating the litter pairings to show what our puppies look like as adults. Your Instagram account can also be featured on our website!
Buyer agrees that, should you no longer be able to care for or keep Pomsky puppy or dog, he or she will be relinquished back to us and not a shelter or rescue. No refunds will be given.
You agree to spay or neuter your puppy no later than 6 months of age.
I do allow breeding rights to responsible breeders for an additional fee who will also be required to sign a contract.
